Which Stroller You Should Choose For Your Baby?

The purpose of any stroller product is to allow you to transport your baby more easily while you walk. Baby prefers to be held almost always rather than riding. This is the same as having your baby in your arms or on your hip in its simplest form.

Knowing your baby’s age when choosing a suitable stroller ride is essential. Check out the types of strollers and features you’ll need (and want) as your child grows.

Travel System Strollers

Travel system strollers are 3-in-1 models, including an infant car seat, a car seat base, and a stroller. The stroller portion can be moved to the car seat portion, and you can move the car seat portion. As its name implies, this feature makes the stroller an excellent choice for traveling. Although a travel system stroller costs more than other models, it is multi-functional and grows with your baby. You can continue to use the stroller after your child outgrows the infant car seat.

Full-Sized Stroller

A full-size stroller has sturdy wheels, storage space in the base, and the ability to close up for easy storage. You might be able to convert them from the standard upright seating position to make them more comfortable for smaller babies who can’t sit up on their own.

Jogging Strollers

A jogging stroller, also called a baby jogger, is designed specifically to be used while jogging with your kid, so they can only be used by kids who are able to sit upright and aren’t compatible with infant seats. Typically, jogging strollers have more serious suspensions that can handle the extra weight of running, reinforced harnesses to keep your child safe, and three wheels, including a lockable front wheel.

Lightweight Strollers

Strollers that are lightweight, sometimes called umbrella strollers because of their small folded shape, are usually lighter and more compact, weighing between 8-17 lbs. This means they cut some corners compared to full-sized strollers. Most do not offer car seat adapters and thus cannot be used until the baby is six months old. Additionally, they have smaller wheels, which makes them less maneuverable and more difficult to push on rough surfaces.

Double Strollers

It is a lifesaver to have a double or triple stroller if you have multiples! It is possible to choose between tandem and side-by-side models, in which your babies sit behind or in front of each other. With twins or two young children, you can use a double stroller. Additionally, triple strollers are ideal for families with triplets or large children!
